How It Works

At HERstory Initiative, we create a safe, supportive space for women and children navigating challenging seasons of life.

We proudly serve:

Single Mothers
Income-based (household income of $50,000 or less; proof required)
Female Veterans
Verification required (LES or DD-214)
Survivors of Domestic Violence
Referral or verification required
Children (Ages 5–16)
From single-parent households or those impacted by domestic violence
(Documentation or verification required)

To receive services, participants must:

Be experiencing financial hardship or a significant life transition
Meet eligibility requirements through documentation or referral (when applicable)
Complete an eligibility appointment
Provide required documentation for review

Some services—especially those related to domestic violence support—require a verified referral prior to participation.
